We are to be found in Buchan Presbytery, in the heart of North Aberdeenshire, the area of Scotland known by its motto, 'from mountains to the sea'.  Following the retirement of Rev Jimmy Wishart in December 2009 and actively seeking a new candidate to further the cause of Christ's Kingdom in this part of Scotland, we have found the right person to lead us forward and help us create a new chapter in the Deer story!

New Minister in Place

We are delighted to announce that Rev Sheila M Kirk has now answered God's call to come to Deer. Rev Kirk was inducted to this charge on Thursday evening, 4th November.  We trust that Rev Kirk will find this a very interesting area in which to live and work and we look forward to a fruitful and beneficial partnership in the coming years.
